This year we created our own unique Autumn decorations. Using a large piece of cardboard, my daughters painted a scarecrow for our front yard. First, we traced an outline of Lilly then set about painting the background around this space. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This got super messy; Rose absolutely loved the feeling of the finger paints!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After giving the background a few days to dry, we all got messy again painting the actual scarecrow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lilly has been learning about Johnny Appleseed at her school so she chose details inspired by his legend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
