Social Chickens<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When we brought home our chickens this past Spring, we wanted to make sure they would be friendly and easy to manage. Since day one we have been giving our chickens daily attention, and they are all quite social, running close whenever we go near and allowing us to pet them or pick them up when needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cuddle Chicken<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Lady Grey, our Lavender Orpington, is our cuddle chicken. When I first researched her breed I read that many of them like to cuddle, but found it hard to imagine a chicken cuddling. Lady proved my imagination wrong. Lilly is her favorite cuddle companion, gladly settling into Lilly’s lap for snuggle sessions. They are so cute together!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
