This year we created our own unique Autumn decorations. Using a large piece of cardboard, my daughters painted a scarecrow for our front yard. First, we traced an outline of Lilly then set about painting the background around this space.
This got super messy; Rose absolutely loved the feeling of the finger paints!
After giving the background a few days to dry, we all got messy again painting the actual scarecrow.
Lilly has been learning about Johnny Appleseed at her school so she chose details inspired by his legend.
